Stress is needed for performance yet when most of us talk about it we generally mean it in a negative context when we are overloaded with it. The deep relaxation experienced during hypnotherapy can be very good for dealing with Stress and Anxiety. In addition it can be useful for disrupted sleep patterns which in turn have an impact.
Hypnotherapy can teach you daily tools to help you relax. Effectively recalibration can help you understand the need to de-stress and don’t “Distress”.
Hypnotherapy can give instant relief and respite, whereas other therapies whilst effective can take a longer time to produce results. Why not consider using a mixture of therapies if you are suffering from health damaging levels of stress?
When you get stressed (distressed) do you “De-stress)? If you don’t you may be getting yourself into a spiral. I was reminded of this recently as I drove up the M6. Lots of people accept unacceptable levels and then run into related health problems. Hypnotherapy can be very effective in helping you deal with this. Apart from obvious stressors, there are a number of reasons why you might be suffering with stress and some are deep in your subconscious. You may not even be consciously aware why certain things cause you so much distress. Motorway driving is a good example. Many people find it stressful and others don’t mind it.
This is a subject close to my heart. I experienced a very stressful period in 2008. I left my corporate job and a few months later ended my marriage. I never want to experience those levels of stress again. Life is hard at times and some stressful events are outside our control but managing what we can it is not necessary to accept huge levels of negative stress or “distress” as a way of life.
I also do stress management in the workplace and run stress management on a one to one basis or in small workshops.
